The Mages Guild is an inter-provincial organization under a council of five archmagisters, dedicated to the study and application of magicka and alchemy. It was founded by Vanus Galerion in the early years of the Second Era (see Origin of the Mages Guild for more information). The Guild is a professional organization chartered by the Emperor to promote study of the arcane arts. Training, goods, and services are cheaper for members, and the Guild Stewards know where to find work.
